I have been dealing with a number of issues regarding my joints and need for medical care of same. The latest is having severe pain with total numbness to the rt hand. There also included swelling and pain to the rt back and moved into the left muscles of my back.
An mri was performed and was told of severe arthritis to c-3/4 area along with other bulging etc. I was told that I needed action taken to correct, but as I continued to suggest that the present problem did not occur until I had the muscle issues, a referral to the spinal clinic was scheduled. At this meet I was told that the only thing that can be done is to inject cortisone into my cervical. This can be done only two times and then surgery must be performed and a wire screen inplaced to aid in holding my head upright.
I contacted Dr Blatman and asked he review the mri that I had with me. PRP treatments have been given and I have improved ,though not 100%, I would say by 75%. I look forward to a possible 90 to 100% cure from theses treatments. It is a true gift that I am receiving.

I came to Dr Blatman after 2 weeks of severe arm pain. It was impossible to sit for longer than 5 minutes without pain shooting from my shoulder to my wrist or find a comfortable sleeping position. I tried a deep tissue massage and various other things. Many of my friends and family thought that I probably had a pinched nerve and of course the word surgery was mentioned. Dr Blatman identified the problem area and gave me injections in those areas to address the pain. We followed up with a B12 shot. The pain was considerably less immediately afterword. In two words: life changing. I am a Medical Doctor who had a car accident 10 days after my medical school interview in 1994. Having been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and suffering chronic pain since that MVC, I struggled daily with weather and activity related pain. As an emergency room and integrative medicine practitioner myself, I have practiced prolotherapy but never received it as part of my healing regimen. I have been getting prolo/prolozone with my esteemed colleague, Dr. Blatman, since fall of 2014. With these injections and his insightful coaching around nutrition for chronic pain, I have experienced prolonged periods of COMPLETE PAIN RELIEF. No medication has ever provided such complete and long lasting relief. For the FIRST TIME in 23 years, my functional status has been restored. I am now able to twist to wipe myself properly in the washroom, sit on the floor, bend over, hold my head off centre for prolonged periods and enjoy activities of daily living painfree.
