Excellent experience. Although it was my first visit with Dr Garvin Davis, I left feeling confident and grateful to have found him! It makes a great difference to be able to feel trust and I definitely felt I could trust him with my care.

Very good strong competent doctor. He carried over the assignment of completing a complicated fall out surgery from another good doctor without hesitation. Very grateful, he saved my eye. Very strong stamina, able to withstand and accommodate changes to locations and timing of surgery center availability. Surgery scheduled at 4pm. He was still able to perform perfectly at about 11pm. In between, he made sure I was OK. From his notes, you can see that he is a very meticulous surgeon. Like a cool operator, he execute his work with good judgment and precision surgery skills. He Is kind and understanding. He keep In touch with his patient after surgery to provide care and medicine for the changing signs and symptoms. He is a good communicator. Using simple English and eye model to help me understand my situation. I think it is very good for medical students to watch him at the surgery room. Probably, he is a good professor. Very trustworthy doctor. He has inherent love for his work. His mind has a very good map of the eye. Thank you so much, Houston Methodist to have such a great doctor in house.

It was interesting how he introduced himself. He stretched out his hand to shake my hand, never made eye contact and kept walking to the desk. He appears to be very intelligent and is a good doctor. I would hope he would slow down when walking in the examination room, make eye contact.

Dr Davis walked in from behind, did not say hello, make eye contact, or introduce himself, and continued through much of the visit with his back to me.
