“I was very pleased with my care ...”

I was very pleased with my care provider. He listened. He explained. When I spoke with knowledge about what I understood about my situation, he agreed and elaborated further from his professional perspective. I was really impressed by the theory he uses to treat his patients. He does not treat the diagnosis, but the patient instead (a paraphrase of what I understood him to say). To me that meant he not only takes test results and other evidence into consideration, but he looks closely at how the patient is presenting at the time of the office visit before he makes a decision regarding the treatment. I also got the impression he would look at all available options for treatment before recommending surgery. That's my kind of doctor.

After the initial discussion, I raised a concern about my left shoulder. Doctor took the time for it additional exam, x-ray, and injection to help the situation.
