During my visits Erin Smith always takes the time to listen to me. She reviews my current medications and discusses what will happen during the visit. She tells me what the recommended guidelines are for screenings. She provides a thorough exam and arranges for my yearly mammograms. I feel comfortable with her and trust her guidance. Over the years, I have noticed a frequent turn over of practitioners in the women's health department. Having a new doctor or nurse practitioner every 2-3 years doesn't make me feel well cared for. I am grateful that Erin Smith has remained on the staff for the last few years. Hopefully the hospital will take the matter of doctor retention seriously and do everything possible to retain such competent and compassionate practitioners as Erin Smith.
