After seeing several doctors, when I met the team at cedars I knew I was in the right place. I felt at peace with the fact I was having my first major surgery and was expecting a successful surgery and speedy recovery.

There seem to be a lack of concern. Minimal evaluation to address the concerns that I wrote down in the pre-check document. I had to re-bring up all my concerns. The appointment seemed very matter of fact and onto the next person.

Saw the PA. Her demeanor was cold. I told her that I was in pain. She seemed elusive. I am an 82 yr old woman in pain. As soon as she gave me the injections,she just left, leaving me to get off the table alone. The nurse came in to clear the tray and she too barely acknowledged me.

I thought the post-op pain med regimen could have been explained better it was so fast and there was a lot to take in. Not on the doctorbut I felt it would have been a more productive visit to have the pre-op materials (what to expect etc.) PRIOR to the visit. I would have had fewer questions that were answered and could have things clarified better.
