Dr. NaPier and his team do what they say they are going to do. His team is cheerful and caring. Dr. Napier’s diagnosis was spot on. He listened to me and explained what he thought was needed to relieve my pain. After my surgery I was able to stand up straight and walk, day one. The back pain and leg numbness was gone. Eight weeks after surgery and I feel great.

I had, what I think is normal, hesitations about getting surgery. What if something went wrong? But, I basically was not walking more than a couple of very painful yards and was wheel chair confined.

Dr. Napier really listened to my concerns. He didn't rush. First, we tried non-surgical alternatives, which worked for a bit. However, it became apparent, a longer term solution was needed. He was very optimistic surgery would help. He explained, in a very easy to understand language, what would happen, what to expect and the potential side effects.

The shooting pain was gone immediately after surgery. I did have pain from the surgery itself but was much better after a week. Now, 2 months later, I am pain free. I was mentally prepared to be disabled for the rest of my life. It is a miracle and Dr. Napier is the miracle worker. Thank goodness he went into this profession.

I was originally going to have my spine surgery with UC DAVIS but decided to get a second opinion. I am so glad I did! Dr. Napier is a phenomenal surgeon. His procedure was less invasive than what was originally going to be done and my recovery time was almost non existent. Spine surgery is scary. I had an artificial disk inserted in between my L5 and S1 thru my abdomen. Then I had two rods and four screws inserted in my back. I am 8 weeks post op and feel better than I ever have before. All pain is gone, I'm bending and twisting, AND I'm living a much healthier life now. I am blown away by my results and I can't thank Dr. Napier enough for what he's done for me. I suddenly started experiencing severe and incapacitating back pain in January 2022. It was the worst pain I had ever felt in my life. I was completely crippled by these attacks which were crushing nerves between my vertebrae and making normal day to day activities impossible. I spent large parts of the day in bed. I went to Dr. NaPier and agreed to major fusion back surgery. Immediately after surgery my nerve pain was gone. Now, 3 months after surgery, I have my life back thanks to Dr. NaPier.
