While waiting for an hour for an appt. I watched 8 other patients come out for followup appointments. Spending an average of 10 minutes to go over prior records and talking about heart problems with me. I always felt she was in a rush to see the next patient. Not a lot of time. Her group does not have any electrophysiologists and despite me having electrical conductive problems, she didn't refer me outside her group. She has no hospital visitation rights and relies on an outside group to see me while I was at the hospital just across the street from her office. After 2 pacemaker implants (done by another doctors group), several heart attacks, a late diagnosis of congestive heart failure, and a stroke in the past 12 months, the state sent her a cardiac questionaire for her to complete for my disability claim because I couldn't work. She made a conscious decision not to help me with my disability claim with social security because she said, "I just do not have the time to fill those out. You'll have to ask your primary care doctor to complete it. I don't want that headache." She prescribed me med that caused serious side affects. When I went in to tell her I was feeling worse and vomiting every day she said, "it's your body adjusting to the meds, I'll see you in 6 months".
