I don't know about everyone else, but I am continually let down by health care these days. I won't ramble on about my experiences here but I will say that Dr. Sussman is FANTASTIC. Why? First, he is a problem solver. He doesn't just have one 'fix' but listens well before and after procedures, works with you to find solutions, and cares about your welfare. Sadly, this is very rare these days of transactional health care. Dr. Sussman has successfully treated me for a torn rotator cuff and a hip issue. We are now working on a new part: my thumbs. I always feel well listened to and always have all the time I need. He's great at explaining things. I highly recommend him. You won't be disappointed.

I was scheduled for shoulder surgery on July 1st. That would have had a 9-month recovery.
I met with Dr. Sussman at the request of my PT a week before for a second opinion.
Dr. Sussman put me through a thorough physical evaluation, reviewed my MRI, then performed an Ultrasound in which he explained his findings in detail resulting in Dr. Sussman advising me to postpone the surgery allowing my body the time to continue recovering while I continue PT.
