Originally I was scheduled for an in-person visit with Dr. Batia's PA. However I was originally turned down because, apparently, PAs can't bill. The appointment was only for a 10-minute follow-up to some labs. But I am severely disabled with PLS and dependent on Hopelink. Anybody would be hassled to come in for an appointment that short, but for me, getting ready to attend such an appointment would take hours. Once I explained this to the front-desk staff Dr. Battia stepped in and gave me the virtual appointment. I appreciated that a lot!
