The majority of our patients have dental insurance. We work closely with each patient to maximize their insurance coverage. As a courtesy, we file all claims for services rendered. The professional treatment you receive at Dr. Sheen’s office is rendered to you, not to your insurance company. Please understand that your insurance policy is a contract strictly between you and your insurance company.
Typically the insurance company will pay our office directly. In these cases, unless other arrangements had been made, you would be responsible balance at the time of service. However, there are insurance companies that will pay the patient rather than the treating dentist. If your insurance company pays your directly, then it is your responsibility to pay at the time of service, unless other arrangements have been made. Regardless of your insurance coverage, we will file all the claims and paperwork necessary to ensure that you receive the maximum benefit allowed.
