Worst Experience with a Doctor

I had a 4pm appointment for my son so I left work early to make sure that we were on time. At 4:20 the Dr left the office without a word. Shortly after I was informed by the receptionist that the doctor ran out to go pick up something for lunch. I felt that that was extremely inconsiderate and unprofessional but I tried to keep an open mind, although for a first visit I high extremely unimpressed. At 5:05 when the doctor had not returned, the receptionist offered to page him for me which he didn't respond to for another 10 minutes, advising that he would be back to the office in 20 minutes. If the visit was for me, I would have definitively left but it was for my son and he needed a rx refill.
When the doctor finally returned he asked my son a series of questions which he typed into his computer, had him fill out a few questionnaires and came back with a diagnosis of Bipolar disorder! On top of that he said that my sons meds (mood stabilizer) would not work for him (although they're been working for 4 months and all he needed was an adjustment) and prescribed Lithium for him. My son has never displayed signs of bipolar disorder or any type of manic behavior.
Needless to say, I was not only disappointed with him lack of respect for his patients time, he takes no time with him patients and is overall a bad doctor; so much so that I've also reported him to our insurance company.
I wouldn't recommend this doctor to my worst enemy, let alone someone I cared about. Steer clear.

I took my son to Dr. Ejio for at Luminous Cares on two occasions, and each visit was disappointing. Initially, I'm thinking maybe I was feeling a little touchy because I was exhausted on mine and my son's first visit. However, when the same events occurred during the second session, I knew it was not me. I find Dr. Ejiofor to be short tempered and narrow minded. He resented me asking him questions concerning the treatment plan he wanted to put my son on. He also resented me asking my son, how he felt about what was being suggested. Then there was the constant interruption by staff and phone calls. One of the phone calls that the doctor took concerned a patient who was bipolar, manic depressive and had schizo affective tendencies. That conversation was not for my ears. I have a think for doctor/patient confidentiality. I do not recommend this psychiatrist. I have no malice towards this doctor, I am simply stating what transpired on mind and my son's visit.
