“Not a good experience”
This doctor is now in Elkton MD practicing as a Critical Care Doctor and Pulmonologist. My mother went to her from a referral from her primary care doctor. This doctor took the list of medicines from the previous doctors in NJ and just duplicated the list intact except for upping my mother's nebulizer medicine to 2 times the original dose. When we went to get the prescription from the pharmacy the pharmacist said he could not in good conscience fill the prescription. My mother's age and the fact that the dose was being doubled were just too risky for him to take the chance. That evening my mother had to be taken to the ER for an extremely rapid heart rate. After a lot of tests the ER doctor said that the dose of this medicine needed to be cut in half certainly not doubled! And we needed to have the doctor write a new prescription.
That would have been fine, but when the office was called we were all told that the doctor was out until the following week and there was no way to get this prescription corrected!?!!! What kind of medical practice would abandon their patient in that way!??? I called and asked if there was no one covering for Dr. Fynn and was told that even though there was another doctor in the practice it was Dr. Fynn's patient and it would have to wait until the next week to be resolved.
If this is their idea of patient CARE I would strongly suggest finding a different doctor!
