The first day I walked into Susan's office, I was a mess. I think I cried through most of the visit. I had a full hysterectomy and was in full blown menopause. If there were 10 symptoms, I had 8. Night sweats, hot flashes, weight gain, mood swings, irritability, difficult falling and staying asleep. I wasn't me and my surgeon didn't seem to have or care about the answers so I decided to try bio-identical hormone therapy.
