“I genuinely did not have a good ...”
I genuinely did not have a good visit with Susan. The call was recorded per her stating it in the beginning of the visit and I would like that consulted. She did did not ask me about referral choices, she chose providers for me. I had a conflict of interest and no interest in working with Group Works. She discredited diagnosis I said I had or was concerned I had and wanted to be evaluated for. She made comments about weight that were not sensitive to an eating disorder patient. She prescribed me a medication that, if she would have listened to me, I have already been using over the counter at home and has not been working. She discussed her personal life (her boyfriend) and then the next patient whom she referred to as "he" and started talking about his mental health conditions (I think it was ADHD). I told her I was not comfortable with the appointment and walked out. I'm okay with poor bedside manner if the quality of service is good and my problems are addressed. I got up because I was uncomfortable with the thought of her continuing with a PAP smear which is already an uncomfortable experience for me.
