Very competent doctor but she made me feel like she was doing me a favor. Apparently she only does surgical consults and seemed insulted to do a routine checkup. I didn't pick her, she was assigned to me.

“The Provider failed to establish...”

The Provider failed to establish a connection with me, which left me feeling uncomfortable as they incessantly stared me down and fixated on my wedding rings. Furthermore, during our interaction, she interrupted me before I could fully respond to her initial question, only to ask me the same question again merely moments later. The entire visit felt careless, rushed and lacked any sense of warmth or personal connection. Adding to this, her humor was noticeably absent, which contributed to a rather tense atmosphere. Moreover, she did not present me with many options to consider, and her straightforward approach did not align with my preferences. I most certainly do not desire to have any future appointments with this provider.

Dr. Desai is FANTASTIC. I trust her implicitly. She's caring, empathetic, and provides clear, concise explanations. I would recommend her to my closet friends, mother, and daughter....and that is high praise.

I felt like this provider was unnecessarily brusque with the assisting nurse, and she also seemed to expect my procedure to fail despite my having gone through it several times previously without incident. Also, as a note I didn't find the provider's slow, incremental approach to be less uncomfortable than the quick method, it just was uncomfortable for longer. Overall, I was glad the team reached out to me to schedule the appointment, but I was confused because in mychart it just said new patient appointment and didn't mention the specific purpose of the appointment. There were no pre-appointment instructions which would have been helpful, which my PCP has provided in the past.
