I have been seeing this provider for two years. I have a some symptoms that affect my daily life that I am trying to find the cause so I can get proper treatment. This provider has ordered redo tests from years ago before she became my doctor as well as new tests and repeat bloodwork. All of which I appreciate. Thus far, she has not found the cause of my symptom. On this last visit she said she's ordering one more round of bloodwork but after that the provider said she can do nothing more for me. That was extremely disappointing to hear as a patient. I am officially being dismissed. my symptom is being dismissed. The provider could have said, "I have run out of ideas at this moment, but I am not giving up helping you. The medical field is advancing every day. In the meantime, let's discuss lifestyle changes that might help alleviate this symptom." At least that would have given me hope instead of leaving me feeling dismissed.
