we trust him to treat our child. we have seen 4 different doctors since our child started treatment for his condition and he has been one of the best. my only compliant would be with some of the in clinic staff and their negative bedside manner with children. coming into the eye doctor causes our child lots of anxiety and we didn't feel a lot of compassion in this area

Pre-op appt made me feel a lot more at ease, and then surgery went really well. His phone call the afternoon on the day of also made us very appreciative. I trust Dr Wiggins' expertise and skill, and I do wish there had been more 'bedside' manner in the beginning to help understand what our son needed. Overall, I am satisfied with the treatment and care. I would admit that I am an anxious mom in general and need a lot of conversation around my child's needs for medical care.

As an airline pilot my eyesight is critically important to my job. Three years ago I had an optic neuritis which threatened my eyesight and my career. Dr. Wiggins correctly diagnosed and treated the condition, stopped the deterioration of my vision, and helped navigate all of the critical information that the FAA needed so I could keep flying. Wiggins helped to save my eyesight and my career. I cannot express strongly enough the respect and confidence I have in Dr. Wiggins.

I am very happy with my surgery results and experience at Asheville Eye. My only other comment is that during my first visit I saw a couple of staff members with their masks below their noses which isn't very effective.

I spent a good amount of time at the office but I had the most through eye exam. The staff was very friendly and informative. I was a tough case but Dr.Wiggins was the doctor who put everything together to the correct diagnoses and treatment plan.
