We got in touch with Dr. Donoway when resection of the tumor was taken off the table. Within 3-4 weeks we were in South Florida having the NanoKnife procedure. The surgery was a success, with a little pain and discomfort afterwards. We couldn't be happier with the results so far!!

Dr. Donoway and the staff were the utmost professional and at the same time very relatable and engaging. All of the staff interactions at Memorial Regional were friendly and always willing to help. I have not experienced that level of caring in some time from a medical community. Specifically, Dr. Donoway was the best Dr. experience since being on this journey. After many hours of research and long distance calls/texts, Dr. Donoway was very accommodating to our needs, He is very direct and to the point which we like in a doctor, someone who is not going to sugar coat a diagnosis. Eventually we were able to fly to Florida to have the Nanoknife procedure performed. We feel as though we were treated with the utmost respect and given the top notch service while under his care. Dr. Donoway is a freak of nature when it comes to Doctors. Open communication via text/Telephone/email. Consistently and thru out care. I have never seen this before or thought it existed. Going thru a tough time and having that ability to converse with you doctor so easily is just no heard of. He truly cares about his patient. My diagnosis was terminal with almost no hope of remedy. Four (4) different oncologists said in-operable. Dr Donoway was able to ablate all the tumors that were visible. I now have the realistic hope of living a long time. My family and I could not be more thrilled.

My diagnosis was terminal with almost no hope of remedy. Four (4) different oncologists said in-operable. Dr Donoway was able to ablate all the tumors that were visible. I now have the realistic hope of living a long time. My family and I could not be more thrilled.

When you are dealing with Pancreatic Cancer, Stage-IV, you must make a crucial decision between letting the doctors take control OR taking a pro-active role in your treatment. When our Medical Oncologist basically told us that only Chemo was an option and that she was not confident she would get the primary tumor through chemo, we knew we had to take action.
