“Properly addressed our son's lip and tongue tie”
I suspected my newborn son had a lip tie, and when I brought him to Dr. Rishita, we discovered he not only had a lip tie, but also a tongue tie and "buckles" (other smaller ties on his lip). Dr. Rishita and her staff kept us well-informed of the process, were extremely kind and caring, and now I can breastfeed without pain. One thing my husband and I really appreciated was that Dr. Rishita explained the process so well and did not push anything on us -- we were able to make an informed choice and decision based on our situation. Great experience, would highly recommend to anyone who suspects their child has lip/tongue tie issues.

We met Dr. Rishita when my son had his lip and tongue ties revised at 3 weeks. She was gentle, caring and sang to my baby. She watched us nurse to ensure latch before we left the office after his procedure. When we did the follow up, we also had my then 4 yr old's teeth cleaned. 16 months and 3 cleanings later, my now 6 yr old literally bounces with excitement across the parking lot to see Dr. Rishita and the Smile Wonders team. They are the reason my daughter PLEADS to go to dentist.

We were referred to Dr. Rishita by the breast feeding support group members at VA Hospital Center for a lip and tongue tie evaluation. As a mom of a newborn the idea of having your baby have any kind of minor "surgery" is anxiety inducing at best. They all raved about how wonderful she was and our experience with her and all of her staff was as great or better as all the moms in the group said. The office is bright, very child friendly with toys and music. The staff are all very willing to spend time with you and provided very clear feedback and instructions in the post care. Dr. Rishita obviously loves babies and loves what she does to help moms and babies be able to successfully breastfeed. She is gentle yet very effective in the way she works with young babies. Overall I can't say enough about both the knowledge and quality of care Dr. Rishita and her wonderful staff provided.

From the first phone call to our last follow-up, everything has been wonderful. They got our one week old in very quickly. They took the time to explain everything and answer all questions. They have thought of everything from a nursing room to an online video for the "homework." Dr. Jaju is so knowledgeable and caring, Will be coming back for our regular dental appointments.

Love Dr Jaju's practice! She is very friendly and was very approachable. The staff very efficient and kid friendly environment.My daughter could not breast feed due to her tongue and lip ties. We had a consultation with Dr.Jaju where she evaluated her and gave us different options. We decided to get her tongue and lip tie released using the laser procedure. The procedure itself lasted 5 minutes and was pain free for my daughter. We did have to go through the post op care for our daughter at home for a week. The stretches were obviously painful for her, but after a week the surgery areas have healed very well and i am so glad we got the ties removed! We see that my daughter's smile is more wider now and she is able to move her tongue around and extend it out of her mouth. She was not able to do both before the procedure. Thank you Dr.Jaju!
