“Dr. Parrondo was simply exceptio...”
Dr. Parrondo was simply exceptional. We had some real reservations about some of the medications I was to use, were unclear exactly about my prognosis, the stage of my illness and many other items and Dr. Parrondo explained everything so clearly, so compassionately, we felt as if he handed me a decade. Of course, I pray that's the case but more importantly, that's how it FELT. I'm not displeased with the care I've received in Tallahassee at all but because of the seriousness of the diagnosis, felt a second opinion was a good idea. I don't know that I can express in words - though I'm trying - how grateful I am to Dr. Parrondo for all he did for my wife and me. It was an uplifting experience, one that I would hope anyone in my situation would be able to experience. I had a thyroidectomy at Mayo a few years ago and was duly impressed with the care, professionalism and expertise of everyone on hand. I feel fortunate that I was able to get a second opinion from such a compassionate, thoughtful, caring man. Bless you all.
