“The doctor reviewed my BIPAP dat...”

The doctor reviewed my BIPAP data for the past 30 days. He seemed fine with my data stating that I had been sleeping for an average of 6.5 hours. We discussed the leakage from my mask lately. He showed a different mask that I could use if approved by my provider American Home Patient. It doesn't cover my nose, but has holes for my nostrils. I will wait for their decision to see what will happen for my supplies. Dr. HarriKassoon is a good physician. I have been getting my treatment from him for over 5 years. Thank you

“This is the 3rd or 4th time I ha...”

This is the 3rd or 4th time I have seen Dr. Harrykissoon. I was disappointed in this last visit, he started out rattling off my health history. He seemed a bit annoyed when I tried to correct something he said, and he didn't really acknowledge the correction. He did not seem to understand that while my case may not be as serious as others, it is still concerning to me and there was a lack of acknowledgement, care, and empathy. When the nurse came in to schedule my next appointment, I was moved to his nurse practitioner - but he hadn't mentioned that. It is also unclear why I should still see him or his practice given nothing seems to change from appointment to appointment. He did try to prescribe a new medication, but it was denied (he didn't seem to know this) - all the while I thought the office was trying to appeal. I know and understand he is a smart man, but a little empathy, listening, and understanding the concern your patients have would make them feel more comfortable and heard.

He is very astute. He reads and understands your medical history, tests and current medical condition/issues. He is super caring, patient and extremely articulate. Excellent communication and delivery. Understands your needs and asks for your input regarding future care too. Great doctor!!
