Dr was pleasant and gave me opportunity to express concerns or questions, but made no real recommendations and I've had to request an order for needed preventative screenings.I feel fortunate to suffer from no known medical conditions and take no prescribed medications so I understand my situation may be unique. However, I did expect a physical examination, a urinalysis and an EKG at the time of my annual exam. Dr.performed no physical examination and none of these other things were done. He only took my pulse at wrist and very briefly listened to heart via stethoscope at chest. NOTHING ELSE. Maybe 10 minutes, but I suspect It was less. I'm still astounded at what happened, or didn't happen. Is this "normal" for this practice? If not, then what happened here?If so, I believe I have to find another PCP.

Dr. Paul Woodard is one of the best doctors I have ever had in regard to general practice or internal medicine. I was without a doctor on the Outer Banks for 10 years. I feel very lucky as should anyone on the Outer Banks to be able to be under the care of Dr. Woodard. I am very pleased that ECU Health/Outer Banks HEALTH whatever y'all are calling yourselves at this point, have been able to attract Top quality doctors for those of us who live on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
