More info: Payment is due in full at the time services are rendered. We are out of network for all commercial insurance companies. Your out-of-network reimbursement later will depend on your insurance policy, but for PPOs is often 40-90%.
Offers Financing/Payment Plans?: No
Bills on a Sliding Scale?: No
My Doctor Medical Group is a fee-for-service medical practice and our doctors are considered Out-Of-Network providers for all commercial insurance. Our patients pay us for services at the time we render them.
You may be eligible for reimbursement later from your insurance company for out-of-network services, if you have a PPO plan (or an out-of-state HMO, or foreign traveler's insurance), subject to the terms of your policy including the policy's allowable amounts, coinsurance, copayments and deductibles. Please call your insurance company for more information about your out-of-network benefits if you are wondering what your reimbursement might be.
We do have a biller who can submit an out-of-network claim for you (if you don't want to mail in our receipt yourself) for a nominal fee.
Q: "Why would I want to choose an out-of-network practice?"
A: There are many advantages of choosing a practice like ours. We work directly for you, not for insurance companies or any other third parties, which allows us to provide the best possible medical care, with attention to customer service and privacy. Our doctors and other experts can take the time to listen deeply to your concerns and customize the treatment plan to your individual needs and preferences. By taking the time to get to know you, and by being available to you when you need us, we can get you healthy faster and target tests and treatments to your actual needs. Many of our patients find that this works better and in the end is more cost-effective than utilizing assembly-line insurance-contracted services.
