At 82 years old, I was very apprehensive about facial surgery. However, my fiancé’s encouragement and Dr Flaharty’s five star reviews, led me to proceed with the extensive procedure. The results were excellent and there are no scars showing at all. Dr Flaharty was meticulous in restoring a youthful look as well as eyelid resection and under chin hanging neckline reduction. His follow up care has been superb as well, including many appointments to monitor proper recovery.

The whole experience was excellent. I was so pleased with the results and am very glad that I selected Dr. Flaharty. It was impressive that he didn't want to do too much, just the adjustments to tighten loose and sagging skin. I didn't tell anyone, friends or family, just to see what their reactions would be and whether they could tell that I had had "something done." No one asked or could tell that I'd had surgery, but I got lots of general compliments about looking "great" and "so pretty tonight" etc. That had been my goal, and Dr. Flaharty's too, to look fresher and brighter and more youthful without obvious signs of surgical enhancement. I only had one week where I didn't go out and about and took a second week of going only to the grocery and errands. By 14 days, the stitches came out and I was out socially and in public normally. I had read Dr. Flaharty's book, which I recommend to anyone who is considering any cosmetic surgery. It was a smooth and satisfying experience.

When I decided to have plastic surgery on my face he was the only doctor for me. He calmed my pre-surgery jitters and gave me the confidence I needed to have a procedure that I wanted.

On my first visit after the surgery I was unfortunately the 1 percent of his patients that had a complication. Dr Flaharty immediately took care if it, and I continued to go back everyday for about a week. He was truly concerned and wanted to make sure everything healed properly. He even came in on a Saturday with his nurse just to check on me. I cannot express how special I felt and how good my outcome was. I am so pleased with my decision to use him and with the final outcome. If I decide to have anything else done I would only use him. His staff as well were the best from start to finish. I will actually miss seeing them all.

I made an appointment with Dr Flaharty after a botched blepharoplasty job. I was very tentative about having my eyes done again but he inspired confidence in me so I did. Dr Flaharty repaired the lower lid of my right eye after I had Mohes surgery for cancer. This surgery was difficult ,do to the location being right by my tear duct. Not only was his power-point presentation informative and professionally put together, his demeanor was that of a knowledgeable, dedicated, and caring physician. His credentials are impeccable - trained as an oculo-ophthamologist and performing only facial rejuvenation. After attending two outstanding open houses at Azul's Fort Myers and Bonita Springs offices, I scheduled a free consultation. Dr. Flaharty spent time with me, was a good listener and offered several options. The professional staff was extremely knowledgeable and caring as well. What was most impressive was that approximately one week prior to surgery, Dr. Flaharty spent another hour of his time, along with one of his nurses, to thoroughly review the surgical procedure, what he was going to do, and what I would have to do during recovery. I had basal cell removed from my forehead and I was very afraid that after my surgery I'd have one eye brow slightly higher than then other. Dr Flahary was able to fully remove my cancer and I have no scar and no redness, plus he was even able to smooth out a wrinkle. One of my friends asked me if I got Botox!!! I've told all my friends that Dr Flaharty is the only plastic surgeon to see!

I was sent here by my dermatologist because I had a spot of skin cancer under my right eye and he felt it would be best removed by a plastic surgeon. Dr. Flaharty removed it and put in 5 or 6 tiny stitches. That was awhile ago and I have no scar whatsoever .

It's been 2 weeks since my surgery and I am absolutely delighted. My husband took close-up pictures of me before my surgery and I had no idea I looked so bad. Now I once again have eyelids-- they had all but disappeared. My chin and neck look fabulous-- no more "waddle". My frown lines are gone. I look like me again!
