For this particular telehealth, Dr. Assi joined the call from his car while driving (camera off, I could hear road noise, blinkers, parking beeps, etc and then him walking into the building). Beyond it just being unprofessional to not have his full attention during the appointment, it was pretty clear to me that he had not reviewed my patient file prior to the call thus the first part of the telehealth was confusing and frustrating trying to get on the same page. After he finally made it into his office and turned on his camera things were better but by this point I was trying very hard just to hold myself together and not cry. Overall not a great impression less than 2 weeks out from surgery and not the level of care I would expect from this team.
