Again, I was astounded at how Dr. Desai explained to me the situation and showed me my xrays taken there at his facility! He didn't act like he was in a hurry to get out of my exam room! I was never asked questions and, during my reply, he did NOT interrupt me like what I was saying wasn't important! Thank you so very much for making me feel like I was a human being and not a number!!! I'm no longer depressed!!!

Dr. Desai was wonderful. He explained everything to me and gave me a plan. He gave me hope when I had pretty much resided to the fact that I am going to have to live with the pain forever!

Dr wanted to do the exact test I tried to get my dr from home to do. I didn't have to ask, he said it was the logical next move. He explained everything well and made sure we understood before moving on to the next part.

Dr. Desai was amazing! He is hands-down, the most professional, caring, knowledgeable, and kind doctor I've ever met. I was so lucky to have him as my hand surgeon, and to now have him for my follow up care. He makes sure that I understand what is happening and what is coming down the road, and is thorough and detailed. He takes time to listen to me, answer my questions, and reassure my concerns.I would recommend him to anybody because his experience, knowledge, and ability is top-notch.

Options other than surgery were not offered or discussed. While I am okay that I had surgery and pleased with the care I received, I would have appreciated further discussion Initiated by the doctor. This Is the first time I had broken a bone and my lack of orthopedic knowledge diminished my ability to ask deeper questions. I recognize that opening that time of conversation can be tricky to navigate.
