Dr Michael Crane was my surgeon, I was very tense, he went over the procedure, and calmed me some. The staff and nurses we very reassuring, I told them I was claustrophobic, they made sure I could get my breath all through surgery. Very kind, professional and friendly. My surgery is still healing, but coming along fine.

Years ago I fractured my right leg and Dr. Crane was the first Dr. to see me in the ED. It was late in the day and he had been on call and in the OR all day. After reviewing my xrays, he told me that the operation would be long and extensive and he was tired after the long day he had had. He suggested he give me pain medication and admit me and the next day I could decide if I wanted him or Dr. Emerson( who had done previous arthroscopies on my knees) to do my surgery. In the morning I chose Dr. Emerson and was later told by Dr. Crane he was glad I had chosen Dr. E. as the surgery was quite intense. In 2008 I needed my left knee replaced and I remembered how kind Dr. Crane had been and chose him and now again in 2013 I needed my right knee replaced (this was the one with the previous extensive injury and Dr. Crane was not excited about doing this surgery) and I chose Dr. Crane again and the outcome has been wonderful! The surgery was tough and the rehab tougher but without him it would not have been a success. Thanks Dr. Crane
