Dr O is a great doctor. I have been seeing him for over 20 years, but this past fall something on my back caught his eye as well as something on my chest. Many times in the past, he has removed suspicious looking bits of skin, all as a result of my mother thinking it was “healthy” to get a sunburn each summer! So when he removed these two and sent them to the lab, I was expecting the usual call, everything is fine. This time, it wasn’t, the bit removed from my back was a melanoma. I was stunned, but Dr O said we got it at the very earliest stage and arranged for me to have it removed at Yale. The Doc at Yale told me I was very lucky to have it identified when I did, agreeing that it was at the very early stage, meaning it had definitely not spread. THANK YOU Dr O, you’re the best!!
