I was referred to Dr. Cunningham by my PCP for a possible blood clot. I did have veins in both legs that were not functioning. Dr. Cunningham and his team were able to treat them over a period of several weeks. The treatments were quick and effective with minimal discomfort.
Dr. Cunningham also diagnosed me with lymphedema. I have suffered with swollen aching legs and feet for over 30 years and this was the first I had heard of lymphedema. He ordered pneumatic compression for me to use at home. I use it daily and what a difference! I have lost several centimeters in the size of my legs. The swelling is now manageable even in the heat and humidity that we have experienced this summer.
I can’t thank Dr. Cunningham and his staff enough for recognizing my problem and helping me to find a solution that is bringing me relief.
Anyone that suffers from heavy painful swollen legs and feet may not only have leg veins that are not functioning properly, but be suffering from lymphedema.
