Dr. Mucenski's mother is an anesthesiologist and her hero. Following her lead, Dr. Mucenski chose to pursue medicine as a career. As an English and Spanish major in college, she acted as a medical interpreter for Hispanic women giving birth, something that amazed and captivated her.
