My pregnancy was wonderful up until my induction because my cervix was so high up and wouldn't efface we did a 12 hour procedure with cervadil and I still didn't efface so when she told me what was next(another 12 hour procedure) I started crying. she told me very sweetly that we don't have to do it if I don't want too, and started me on pitosin and if that doesn't work we could do a c-section.. but through out everything she and her staff wer...Original review on DoctorsDig.com
“Do not trust Dr Kendra Thorn”
With my 2nd pregnancy with Dr Thorn she decided to stop beign my primary physcian at 25 weeks out of the blue. When I asked her why she did not figure this out 20 weeks ago as none of my risk factors had changed she just kept saying I needed to see a Dr in San Antonio instead. Dr Thorn is inadequate and a shameful exmaple of a medical professional. “Cost me $1000's”
After my old Dr. moved, I went to Dr. Thorne for my 2nd pregnancy. She did not want to discuss any other ways to deliver since I had a c-section on my 1st. She recommended that I go to another dr. if I wanted to explore any other options. Further, she ordered $1000's of $$ worth of blood work done that was already done during my 1st pregnancy. “Do NOT visit with this Doctor”
Dr. Thorn was very rude and talked down to me throughout my L&D. She treated me like an idiot, which I am not. She wasted hours of my time in the hospital, not showing up until many hours after she promised and making herself unavailable to me for questions. Not only that, but she is very mis-educated and completely conservative/traditional in her birthing thoughts. I do not recommend Dr. Thorn to any one. I have never posted anything about a physician before and hopefully will not have to do it again. Dr. Thorn returns phone calls she deems important to her not you. If she does return your phone call she makes you feel as if you are inconveniencing her.
