After going to dozens of doctors who tried to tell me I wasnt sick, I was just anxious and they tried to prescribe anti anxiety medicine I did a lot of research and waited for an opening at Holtorf medical.

I knew on the first visit with Dr Karen Bullington that I was in the right hands. She sat with me and truly listened to what I was going through. I expected her to bolt out the door any moment but she stayed and listened to it all and assured me they would get to the bottom of things.

I was diagnosed with adrenal and immune issues and she talked me through the entire protocol. Two and a half years later I can say that Im so glad I found Holtorf and Dr Bullington as I am back to my old self. The difference between her and the dozens of other doctors that i saw....she LISTENS and she CARES!

So far I've had the initial consultation and just started IV therapy. I will have the important appointment in a few weeks with the results of all of the tests and labs done at my first appointment with the treatment plan. I am very hopeful and trusting that Dr. Bullington and her team at Holtorf will give me their very best and help me get on the road to recovery. Dr. Bullington was empathetic and understanding and spent plenty of time with me. My husband is coming for the treatment plan appointment to help me remember all of the info. I am really looking forward to continuing treatment and getting out of this bad CFS flare up. I feel I'm in good hands here.

Dr. Karen Bullington is very sweet and definitely takes the time to get to know you and your symptoms well. She is the first one to properly diagnose my ME/CFS. I was so sick when I found Dr. Bullington that at times felt I wasn't going to survive. I'll always remember my first visit, which was 8 years ago. I left feeling there was hope, and that I could make it. She was the 5th Doctor I had seen looking for help, and had even had a Piedmont Doctor tell me out right that she didn't know what was wrong with me, and couldn't help. I still struggle at times, but am so much better. The staff is always very responsive, thoughtful, kind, professional, and helpful.

For difficult disease and illnesses when many Doctors will tell you its in your head this office will give you real understanding and successful treatment options. I have seen many Doctors and am so fortunate to have this office to get great treatment and health. I can workout again and have energy too travel and live a normal life NO more being bedridden 50% of the time. Its really up to the patient to work as a team with the Doctor and eat well and sleep well The staff is a well oiled machine!
