“He took the care provider about ...”

He took the care provider about half an hour to show up and discuss the treatment. He seems to be in a rush. We wrap this whole treatment under him for about three minutes. I had a lot more questions that weren't answered. It looks like he was in a great rush after I was waiting 2 1/2 hours to see him
