“The best therapist I have ever met.”
She listens but has a lot to say and guides my discussion of my issues/situation and doesn't just let me drift. She is non-judgemental, supportive, seems to know what to ask to get to the heart of issues, uses a variety of approaches
She picks up on body language, tone, movement, and seems to know when I think of something important or experience an emotional reaction. She invites me to discuss how I feel about the process of therapy, my reactions to what she says or does, treating me like a partner in my own therapy. She genuinely cares.
Most importantly, after decades of feeling bad, she has actually helped me feel better. I find myself using what she has taught me and brought out in me so far almost automatically, and it helps.
“Excellent. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Schroeder.”
Very professional, knowledgeable. I HATE talking about my issues, but she makes it feel so easy, safe, and comfortable. I feel like I could tell her anything and not be judged. She has tremendous patience, insight, understanding, and has made me feel better. She is by far the best mental health professional I have met, and I have met/worked with a lot of them.
