“Dr. Burgess has been my primary ...”
Dr. Burgess has been my primary care physician for a dozen years. I struggled for about 6 years before I found her. From our first meeting, where she made a list of all of my symptoms and complaints, until our last, she is kept a checklist of the things that I need to be working on. She has championed me, she has consoled me, she helped me care for my elderly mother, and then cared for me after she died. Dr Burgess has the biggest heart, but her intellect is an even greater asset. She's so clever, she is so able to see the big picture and weed through all of the issues, to get to the heart of the problem. I came to her feeling as though I was not going to live much longer with the rate I was degrading. And today, now, I have never felt healthier. I feel hopeful for my future, I feel as though I have a real shot at longevity. And I credit all of this to her. I'm excited for her to have the new opportunity doing concierge medicine, she deserves to be seen and appreciated and elevated. But I am going to miss her terribly. Personally, and professionally, she has been one of the greatest catalysts in my entire life.
