I decided to see this specific provider due to the overwhelmingly positive reviews online and was optimistic about this visit. It ended with me crying in my car in the parking lot. I don't know if he was having a bad day or just didn't like me from the start, but he didn't smile or say one friendly thing the entire visit. He seemed irritated from the beginning and not even remotely concerned about my health issues. To be honest, it felt like he made assumptions about me and my health immediately and was trying to write me off as ignorant, or a hypochondriac, to get me out of there quickly. We barely talked about my most pressing symptoms and it was clear he was skeptical (to say the least) about how debilitating those symptoms can be for me in my daily life. We barely talked about my family history because he rushed through that part too. I really don't even think he would have had me do any testing or follow up appointments if I hadn't pushed back on what he claimed was my problem. I came out of that appointment feeling belittled, embarrassed, and hopeless.
