“Now my other knee”

Many years ago, Dr. K did a partial knee replacement on my right knee. That knee is doing great. I just saw him for my left knee. I was really afraid that I was going to k=need a replacement again because even though I did so well I don't like the idea of surgery.

After an x-ray Dr K told me I did not need a knee replacement and I am being treated differently.

I went to Dr. K for a second opinion because another doctor told me I did not need surgery. I thought this was all wrong and Dr. K agreed. He took x-rays of me standing up and showed me how bad my knees were.

He did tell me that the decision to have surgery was all mine and depended on the amount of pain I was having daily and also whether or not I can do what I want to do. Since I can't even walk more than 1 block this was not a hard decision.
