At this time, I am a preferred provider for Hometown Health and Prominence Health Plans. However, this does not necessarily mean that you cannot use other health insurance coverage for my services as an out-of-network provider. Please ask your insurance company whether your policy covers out-of-network behavioral/mental health care and, if so, what that amount is. Should you choose to use insurance, I am happy to provide you with a "superbill" that you then submit to your insurance carrier to seek reimbursement for my services as an out-of-network provider.
Please keep in mind that my decision not to join insurance panels means that I provide only the bare minimum of information to your insurance carrier in order for you to be reimbursed. This allows me to avoid revealing the deeply private, and sensitive details about our work. It also means that you and I (not the insurance company) decide on therapy goals, approaches, and length of treatment.
