Dr. Thompson hit it out of the ballpark. He should give a master class on building patient rapport. I never met him before, but feel that he cared, was thoughtful about my diagnosis and walked the line perfectly between explaining his rationale while not speaking down to me or speaking above my head. Truly exceptional. I raved about him to my wife afterward.
