“I found my new dialysis doctor”
I had a problem at dialysis and they arranged a visit to doctor Werder, who stretched a narrow spot in my arm vein using a special balloon. He showed me some pictures afterwards of my actual veins and explained in a way I could completely understand. The co-pay was $20, but there was free valet parking and they gave us a small lunch after. He called me 2 days later just to check and make sure that the dialysis problem was fixed and it was.

“Everything went perfectly”
He's one of the good ones! The doctor was on time (crazy, huh?) and he explained everything perfectly before the surgery. He also met with us after it was finished and told us that everything went fine. His nurse called the next day when I was at home to check on me. I'm a pretty anxious person, but Dr. Werder and his nurse kept me feeling totally calm and relaxed every step of the way.

“Very good”
It was very good. He opened my dialysis graft when it went down.

“Kind and professional during a very difficult time”
Dr. Werder and especially the staff at Maryview Hospital, went above and beyond to bring comfort to my father during his last days. It was a very sad experience made just a little bit easier through their compassion. I will always feel grateful to have had such a kind people around him at the end.
