Dr Santoni graduated from Florence University Medical School, Italy, in 1990, was accepted by Columbia University in New York for a Residency in Internal Medicine. He was subsequently recruited by Dr Valentin Fuster at Mount Sinai Hospital for a Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease and then Cardiac Electrophysiology.
