We are a fee-for-service clinic so you pay for services as you go. Imaging, blood work and prescriptions are still covered by your insurance as these services are provided outside of our clinic. With private insurance (Blue Cross, Blue Shield, United, etc), we can provide a super bill for services. You can submit this to your insurance company and they may reimburse you depending on your plan.
We do not accept Medicare and our providers have opted out of the Medicare network. This means that you will be asked to sign a private contract which clearly states that Medicare will not reimburse The Well or the patient for services rendered and that neither the patient or the Well will file a claim.
We do not accept Medi-cal. There is no opt-out form; patients may choose to pay cash for services.
