She explained all about gout, what exacerbated the condition, how to select foods to avoid gout flare ups, etc. I was really impressed with her concern, her clear explanations, and her guidelines. She was so thorough checking for other Medical conditions that could affect the gout problem. I knew nothing about gout when I went in. When I left Dr . Lao, I felt confident that I knew how to take care of my body and my diet to control the gout. She was such an expert and she was so great at listening to my concerns and educating me. I really felt heard and cared for.
