I feel fortunate that I have never needed to be employed by managed care companies or any other corporation. I am therefore free to practice psychiatric medicine without the paper work and restrictions that would compromise the premium level of care that I provide. Most of my patients receive out-of-network reimbursements from their carriers for their visits anyway.
