“Patient was brought in for Const...”
Patient was brought in for Constipation. Provider only looked at rectum when prompted by mother. Provider didn't listen to bowel sounds, only asked if patient had passed gas. Mother unsure if gas had been passed. Provider seemed pleased with palpating the stomach as the only method of assessment. An xray was ordered, the provider stated they would call with results and didn't call. Mother called the nurse line and was told they are unable to confirm if results are urgent or not and would have to wait until the next day. Received a call the next day from a nurse not a provider. Rushed and no follow through.
