Making the decision to have a hair restoration procedure in itself is a difficult decision to make. Like most people, I was very skeptical and wavering on whether or not to proceed. Upon meeting Dr. Varona all of those doubts went away. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and sincere in answering my questions and alleviating my fears. I could not more highly recommend him as a doctor and someone you want to help through the process of hair restoration.
My surgery day was flawless and my results have exceeded my expectations only 10 months out. I have Dr. Varona to thank for that and would not hesitate to point anyone in his direction. I plan on doing this again at some point in the future and will only do so with Dr. Varona as my doctor.

Excellent follow-up and 5 star experience as a patient. My own background is a physician so I am very particular when I have to be a patient. Raymond was incredibly helpful during the consultation and walked me through the entire process, outlining all my options and detailing everything. Dr. Varona is an exceptionally skilled surgeon. The graft harvesting and suture line is pretty much flawless. I remember feeling the back where the grafts were taken and the suture line was very neat and clean. Raymond has be wonderful with the follow ups and is incredibly knowledgeable and well versed in this. I have had a wonderful experience and would recommend this to anyone.

“Excited for Spring”

After watching my hairline recede for the last 20 years I finally got the gumption to do something about it. I met with patient advocate, Dana Lemay and Dr. Chirs Varona to discuss my goals and the best course for treatment. Because I wear my hair a little long in the back we decided the the FUT treatment would the best treatment to maximize results. I did my own due diligence and talked to a friend who had recommended the FUE treatment but after a final consultation and some assurances from Dr Varona I was satisfied that the FUT was right for me.
The day of the procedure went smoothly. I actually fell asleep during the FUT strip removal but was awake talking and watching a movie for the rest of the day. My only advice for someone considering either FUE or FUT is to be mentally prepared for a rather long day of being poked and prodded. I wouldn't describe it as painful but rather mild discomfort for several hours. It's long and tedious. In my case I arrived at 8:30 am left the office at 7:00pm.

I was happy to get home have some dinner a glass a wine and sleep on my back as instructed. The next morning a hot shower never felt so good and I was on my way to a rather productive day at work even though I had planned on taking the week off. I thought i was going to go incognito, wear a hat and stay out of site for a week or so but after a couple days my scabs had healed enough and I had the confidence to go about my daily routine like nothing happened.

Now I'm one week in and my thoughts are toward spring when there will be more than tulips sprouting up. I'm excited to think how nice my hairline will be once it starts growing and I have no doubts I made the right decision.
