Dr Jones explained the condition he thought I had , as well as the treatment he would do. He said the first step was to get a map of my veins in the targeted leg, and then go on for the treatment. So I mentioned to him that I had been called to come in early to get an ultrasound of my leg, and was that the mapping he spoke of. He was totally surprised that it had been completed by his staff. They had called me in the morning to get me to come in before my appointment. So once he looked at the results, he changed his recommendations for treatment. My concern was the lack of communication between him and his staff. Someone had to order the ultrasound, and I would assume that would be the doctor of record. But he was totally surprised that it had been done.
