“The best neurologist in NY and NJ”

The most professional, knowledgeable and skilled doctor I have ever encountered. He is extremely informative and will provide you not only with the information regarding your condition but also numerous ways to treat it and what to expect in the future. He is extremely good at treating conditions, giving spinal injections, Botox injections for migraines and other types of injections. His hand is light so the injection feels less uncomfortable plus in the past 8 years of seeing this doctor, I have never had a complication (and I had many with previous doctors). He knows about the rarest conditions and diseases and performs different types of procedures to confirm his diagnosis and his bedside manner is exceptional. I would highly recommend him to everyone who is seeking a neurologist/ pain management doctor, he is the best there is. I have traveled hours in the past to see him although he was out of state. You will not regret making him your new physician.

My experience with this provider has been exceptional. He is excellent at diagnosing conditions, as well as treating them. He prescribes the accurate medications in addition performing the correct procedures needed for your condition; whether it be neurological related or pain. I see him regarding my pain and he continues to prescribe me medications that definitely help curb the pain so that I can function and basically go about my daily business almost normally. He also gives me injections in my pain areas. He has very "gentle hands" and the injections do not hurt much at all and they provide relief for a minimum of a week and a half. Dr. Leybel has already injection my knee joint multiple times. Today although, I am not looking forward to getting injections in my back, I know Dr. Leybel will do his best to make sure the procedure goes well without inflicting much pain and hopefully providing relief for a while. He is a neurology and pain physician; however, he does not just simply give medications: he also performs multiple exams in his office to discover the problem and source of pain, as well performing an assortment of injections. Both he and his daughter Dr. Briskin work at the practice and they are both VERY good at what they do. However in my experiences coming to the office over a period of about 2 years on and off, I find there is less of a wait when seeing Dr. Briskin as opposed to Dr. Leybel. However, again, they are both excellent at what they do, as well as a pleasure to visit. They both have great welcoming personalities, while remaining professional and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone and if you happen to come on a day when there is a wait, trust me, IT WILL BE WORTH IT. I travel an hour and a half just to come to their office because they are such great physicians. I have worked in the medical field for 11 years in 5 different fields along side many physicians, when I see a great physician, I know it. So, please take my work, they are both excellent.
