“Snoring problem greatly improved with the Mago”

The Mago appliance has reduced my snoring significantly! When I stopped wearing it for a few nights my husband couldn't sleep with me because my snoring "shook the room." I am very happy with the improvement in my sleep (and my husband's) since I started using the Mago.

I received a flyer in the mail, so I suggested my husband go there for a consultation. After we booked the appointment, my husband began experiencing a really bad tooth ache. When he arrived for his consultation, he told Dr. Ang about the toothache. He immediately took an xray and told my husband he would need a root canal. Instead of giving my husband another appointment or sending him to another dentist, he said he would do it on the spot. He didn't want my husband to be in any pain. We have never had such awesome, caring service from any other dentist.

“What an amazing dentist!”

I have had a severe fear of the dentist for years due to a few bad experiences. Unfortunately I let my dental health go too far where I couldn't avoid my fears anymore. I read about Dr. Ang in a magazine and called to make an appointment. Being a new patient I was worried I wouldn't be able to be seen right away. The receptionist I spoke to was very caring and sensitive to my situation and fit me in the very next day. From the moment I came into his office from the front desk employees to the wonderful hygienists I had, all of them made me feel so comfortable. When I met Dr. Ang he immediately calmed my fears and reassured met that he wouldn't do anything that would cause me pain or make me uncomfortable. I had my procedure and he was right! I had no pain and was amazed at how caring he was. He checked in with me every step of the way. When I got home he called me to see how I was feeling and let me know that I could call him if I had any questions or concerns. I'm just so happy that I found Dr. Ang. He has exceeded all my expectations. The level of caring and professionalism went far beyond any experiences I've have had with any healthcare worker ever! I can honestly say that I love my new dentist!

“Dr. Ang reversed my FIFTEEN YEAR fear of the dental chair”

I had not been to a dentist in 15 years because my fear had become so profound that I felt if it wasn't broken leave it alone! I had experienced some horrific experiences in a dental chair that I thought I might go to my grave without ever seeing another one! Then about two months ago I started having pain in my lower left jaw area that wouldn't go away! My husband and I were about to go overseas on a very special trip,for two weeks and I didn't want to be miserable on our trip! I live in Amherst and I wanted someone close by so I did a search and then called around to speak to the different offices. I'll be very honest here, Amherst Village Dental was the only dental office that was kind, caring, listened to me and was not judge mental AT ALL! The other offices I called seemed appalled when I mentioned I hadn't been to a dentist in 15 years and were judgemental. Dr. ang's staff could not have been nicer and made me feel so at ease about making an appointment.
My husband came with me on that initial consultation and we were both impressed with Dr. Ang's honesty, thoroughness and compassion! We talked about all options and came up, with a temporary plan to take care of the immediate issue before our trip! So, I went back for my appointment just two days before our trip to have what we had thought would be a partial root canal just to tied me over! What ended up, happening was that Dr. Ang and I decided that since I would be getting dentures on the bottom eventually, that it would just be easier to extract the two teeth giving me issues and then we would come up with our plan after I got back from my trip! I'll be honest I was a wreck when he suggested taking the teeth out, but he was able to numb me up COMPLETELY, so I felt nothing! I was so impressed with his caring hands and calming voice that I left there feeling confident that I had made the right choice. He gave me an antibiotic just in case I needed it while I was away as I have a tendency to take longer to heal! So, I got home and several hours later Dr. Ang himself called me to check on me! He called me the next day and then he called me the morning we were leaving! When I told him him that I was still in a good deal of pain he wrote out a prescription for me and told me that I could come right away to get it, so my husband went to get it cause he wanted to shake Dr. Ang's hand and thank him for taking such good care of me!
I was able to go on our amazing trip and had what I needed to control my pain and make sure I didn't have an infection. When I got back from my trip I called his office to set up the appointments I needed to make in order to start the denture process and I can't tell you how impressed I was once again as Dr. Ang was willing to work with me to make it affordable! He is an amazing person, he'd have to be to get me to feel comfortable in a dental chair and with a dentist!
Thank you Dr. Ang for giving me the courage and opportunity to finally get the rest of my smile completed without the gut wrenching fear!
