“Dr. Kim is truly amazing. He is ...”

Dr. Kim is truly amazing. He is my favorite doctor at City of Hope. Although he is my oncologist, ENT, and cosmetic surgeon, he treats me with a level of professionalism, skill, humility, and genuine care that feels almost like family.Dr. Kim has saved my life and dramatically improved my quality of life. After seven years on a feeding tube, I am now able to enjoy two to three meals a day. In 2023, he also performed two cosmetic corrective surgeries on my shoulder. Because of his work, I can finally wear normal clothes again without the large hump that used to be there.I am deeply grateful for Dr. Kim. I am grateful for Dr. Kim. His care has been so lifechanging that if anyone in my life even suspects cancer, he is the first person I send them to. That's how much I trust him. Thank you, COH and Dr. Kim.

He was very thorough and explained the procedure to me using a white board and drew it out for me. He eased my concerns about surgery and I am confident in his surgical abilities and in his genuine concern for my health.
